The Problem:

Single use plastics have become an indispensable part of our daily lives. From online shopping to buying groceries to eating at fast food or casual restaurants, much of what we buy comes in packaging or with utensils that will end up in a landfill. Most of those products are made of plastic which can take hundreds of years to decompose, if at all, causing significant harm to our planet.

The Solution:

Seaweed Based Pellets

As A Replacement For Plastic.

Ephemrial provides sustainable solutions for companies who use plastic to make their products or packaging.

Our goal: end the waste crisis by inspiring businesses to make better choices.

Our pellets are made from seaweed, a renewable resource that is eco-friendly and biodegradable, helping brands turn their innovative designs into products that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also practical, functional, and at no threat to the environment.

Small Actions, Big Changes.

At Ephemrial, we believe that every company has a responsibility to do its part in reducing waste and protecting the environment. Our team of experts will work with you to create custom packaging solutions that are tailored to your specific needs, helping you minimize waste, reduce costs, and enhance your brand image.

  • Local Sourcing
At Ephemrial, we believe in empowering Farmers, Manufacturers & Businesses here at home in the US. This not only reduces transportation emissions but also helps to support local businesses. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that all materials meet our high standards for sustainability and quality. By keeping our production local, we're able to minimize our carbon footprint and promote a more sustainable future.
  • Why Seaweed?
Seaweed in many ways is a super plant for the environment. Unlike other biodegradable materials that require commercial composting processes, massive land and water use, and encourage harmful unsustainable processes, seaweed naturally grows in abundance around the world. Seaweed gets all of the water it needs from the world’s oceans, and it requires no land usage. In contrast, Polylactic acid (or PLA), the popular corn-derived “biodegradable” plastic, won’t break down unless it ends up in an industrial composting facility, and Seaweed also is a great plant for capturing carbon. Additionally, seaweed farming presents an economic opportunity for struggling coastal communities around the world.
  • Earth Materials & The Future Of Commerce
This is just the start. Today we are focused on single-use plastic products, but soon we will tackle other plastic products. From plastic packaging materials, to plastic films, to the small plastic objects you can find everywhere around you. We will build a world where biomaterials are everywhere, performing the same functions as plastics, but in balance with humans and nature.
